Please join me and Michelle as we take part in the 2021 Ride to End Polio to be held Nov. 20 as part of the El Tour de Tucson bike ride.
Michelle and I will join other district governors from the West Coast, as well as other Rotarians in Arizona, in the 28-mile bike ride to raise funds for Rotary's Polio Plus campaign.
Rotary International is a leader in the effort to eradicate polio from our world. Since 1985, Rotary and its partners have helped reduce the number of annual cases of polio from 350,000 to fewer than 100 (only two reported cases of wild polio virus so far this year -- in Pakistan and Afghanistan!). We remain committed to the campaign until every child is safe from the disease.
100% of all donations will go directly to the Rotary Polio Plus fund, which are matched 2-to-1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Rotary International, a not-for-profit international service organization, has proudly raised over $58 Million dollars (including the Gates Foundation match) over the past 11 years toward the eradication of Polio by participating in El Tour de Tucson. The annual ride, affectionately known as the Ride To End Polio is hosted by Rotary District 5500 which includes over 50 Rotary clubs in Southern Arizona.
