I am riding in the Tour de Palm Springs in Feb 2022 for a very special non-profit that I work with: Kairos Outside Prision Ministry.  Your support will help me reach my fundraising goal and work to make a difference in the world! Tour de Palm Springs gives 100% of donations back to us!

Support our vision to see communities spiritually freed from the effects of imprisonment and impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women, youth, and their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their community.

The spouses, parents and relatives of the incarcerated often "do time" right along with their loved ones. Kairos Outside offers a comfortable, non-judgmental retreat for women to support each other as they journey through their incarceration.

Kairos Outside is designed to let those families know that there is a community that cares about them and their needs. We give them a secure place to share their struggles with others and with those who are empathetic to their situation. Our work is funded through generous donations like yours. Your donation helps strengthen the family unit and reunite families with more hope for the future.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and heart to see lives transformed.

Many Blessings,
Amy

About Kairos:

The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.

Kairos Prison Ministry International, Inc. is a Christian faith based ministry which addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women, youth and, their families. By sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, Kairos hopes to change hearts, transform lives and impact the world.

Kairos Outside of the Desert serves Ironwood, Calipatria and Centinela Prisons.

Spouses, parents and relatives of the incarcerated often "do time" right along with their loved ones. Kairos Outside is designed to let those families know that there is a community that cares about them and their needs. We give them a secure place to share their struggles with others and with those who are empathetic to their situation.  We help strengthen the family unit and help families reunite with more hope for the future.

Kairos Outside began in California in 1989 as an idea from the Chaplain at San Quentin State Correctional Facility. After the first Kairos Prison Ministry Weekend, he felt, along with others involved in this ministry, that those who became involved in the Kairos program were now open to family unity, more so than ever before. Jo Chapman, a Kairos volunteer from California, took the Chaplain’s idea and developed KO. James Rowland, then Director for the Department of Corrections for California, has often said, “Three things will help keep an inmate from coming back to prison: The first is some type of spiritual awakening while in prison; the second is support by their family during and after incarceration; and the third is a skill to find a job on the outside after release.”

*Kairos is an ECFA Accredited Ministry
