Hello friends!
I am once again competing in the VT 100. This year is a bit different for me.During last years race I had to drop out after 48 miles due to hip problems. Though it was disappointing at least I was able to get out there an try. For many people getting out there to try is a struggle in itself. Some have disabilities that make "just doing it" difficult. A short while after last year's race I had the pleasure of guiding a visually impaired athlete, that is Brian and I in the picture above. We were part of two six person ultra teams at the Reach-the-Beach event. One team of guides and one visually impaired team. With out guides these athletes would be left on the sidelines.Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs for such people and I am once again raising money for this great program. Vermont Adaptive also runs wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. They’re programs are offered to people of all ages, with a variety of disabilities. Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months.

Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal too!
Thank you!
