Hello everyone,
Unfortunately I need to update this message.
I will be unable to attend and participate in the run. Although I had looked forward to doing my small part, personal circumstances cause me to bow out.
My son Jeff's grandfather died last week, and his grandmother passed away this morning (both his bio-dad's parents). The Funeral Mass is planned for April 30 - at the same time as the event. Jeff is flying up from TX and I will be attending the service with him.
All donations collected will still be donated to the cause.
Thank you all for your understanding.
Susan

Hey there! Thank you for visiting my Chief Maloney Unity Run fundraising page!
On April 30th I’ll be walking a 0.1k event at the Greenland NH Police Department benefiting the Chief Michael Maloney Memorial Fund. Chief Maloney was killed in the line of duty on April 13, 2012
You may know that for the longest time my motto has been 'if I can't drive there, I'm not going', but what you may not know is that my personal bucket list has had "complete an actual foot race event" on it for many years. Physical disabilities and common sense have kept me from attempting this my whole life - prior to this opportunity. I wish I was able to take on the full 10k event, but as you know, my mobility and stability is limited and that just would not be possible.
The fundraising goal amount of $260 was chosen for a very specific reason - it was Chief Maloney's badge number. It holds special meaning for all of us within the NH law enforcement community.
The CMMMF is a worthy cause - it is an organization based in NH that provides relief for the distressed members, spouses and children of New England Public Safety members who have been killed or injured in the line of duty; it awards scholarships or grants to exceptional students who demonstrate community service; and provides grants to Seacoast Public Safety agencies for equipment and training purposes.
I hope you can make a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. Your donation supports the Chief Michael Maloney Memorial Fund and all contributions are tax deductible.
