One in 330 children will be diagnosed with cancer prior to the age of 20. While rare in comparison to cancer in adults, each year in NH approximately 70 families hear the words “Your child has cancer.”
For those families, life is never, ever, the same.
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline provides financial and emotional support to these families. Your donation is tax deductible and the money goes directly to the families.
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline has provided over $400,000 in direct cash assistance to NH families.
This includes:
• Over $105,000 in emergency funding
• Over $56,000 in meal vouchers
• Over $164,000 in grocery assistance
• Over $12,000 in gas cards
• Over $85,000 in laptops for kids with cancer
Thank you for your support!!
7th Annual Childhood Cancer Lifeline 5k
The 7th Annual Childhood Cancer Lifeline 5k will take place on September 9th, 2017 in Salem, NH. The event benefits the Childhood Cancer Lifeline organization, more info can be found on the event website.
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline was founded in 1995 by
a group of parents whose children had childhood cancer.
Since our inception, we have been a strictly volunteer organization dedicated to addressing the practical and emotional needs of New Hampshire families dealing with pediatric cancer. Today our volunteers have expanded to include family members, friends, and other caring individuals.
We know first-hand the trauma that a family faces when a child is diagnosed. We also understand the challenges you'll deal with before, during, and after your child's treatment.
The Childhood Cancer Lifeline is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
