Hi,
In Amherst, we're lucky to have an ABC program--standing for "A Better Chance," in which high school kids of color who live in educationally underserved areas of the Northeast attend Amherst High for four years so that they ultimately can go to college and become future leaders in the broader community. This is something I strongly believe in, and I've joined the board of ABC House to help out.
Every year we put on a 5K Walk/Run fundraiser. While I won't be running in the event, I'm hoping you might donate to support the Amherst ABC program and the scholars who live at the ABC House.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal of $200. All donations are tax deductible. If you would like to learn more about the organization please visit the ABC website at www.amherstabetterchance.org.
Thanks for your support!
Evan
