Jim and I are blessed to have so many wonderful grandchildren! Each one of them is so very special. Violet Marie, born in July, has Down Syndrome. Her mom and dad, our daughter Bethany and her husband Gavin, and her big sister Shayla, are the perfect family for Violet. They will love, teach, advocate for, encourage, and challenge her. Violet will definitely have her challenges, but she will not ever have to face them alone because her parents and sister, and all her wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and Godparents are committed to stand with Violet always. We are so very proud of you all! We will be walking in the 2017 Western Massachusett's Buddy walk to support the Down Syndrome Resource Group of Western Mass and the National Down Syndrome Society. Any contribution is greatly and thankfully received.

The Down Syndrome Resource Group of Western Massachusetts was started in September 1999 by parents who had a common interest in sharing information and resources in caring for their children. The group provides information about family support, resources, parent training, and social opportunities.
