Mei and I are heading to Napa to participate in the Crush Challenge 2017. The Crush is a cycling fund raiser that benefits three great non-profit organizations:
* The deLeuze Family Endowed Professorship for Non-Toxic Cure for Lymphoma
* The Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s, and
* The Boys & Girls Club of Napa Valley
We will ride 38 miles through the Hills and Valley of Napa and are asking for your help in raising funds for these initiatives.

Crush Challenge was established in 2014 as a way to showcase the best of the Napa Valley while bringing awareness and funding to a select group of worthy charity efforts. We welcome you to join our acclaimed chefs, celebrity guests and professional cyclists past and present October 13-15, 2017 to enjoy a harvest weekend in the beautiful Napa Valley while helping our deserving beneficiaries: The deLeuze Family Endowed Professorship for the Non-Toxic Cure for Lymphoma, The Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Napa Valley. 100% of our net proceeds will go to these charities.
The 4th Annual Crush Challenge - May 12th 2018
THE BEST WAY TO SEE NAPA VALLEY...
Experience the beauty of Napa Valley on a private cycling excursion (27 or 38 mile options) that will depart from the Veterans Home of California, located on the hill above the Napa Valley's dining mecca, Yountville. Take the wheel of our hosts as you pass through vineyard lined avenues sharing the road with the friends of The Crush Challenge, which has previously included cycling pros past and present Alex Steida, Freddie Rodriguez, Alison Tetrick, Bob Roll, Chris Carmichael, Brent & Jamie Bookwalter, Levi Leipheimer, and Christian Vande Velde to name a few. Complete ride support will be provided by SRAM & Napa River Velo, as well as a unique stop-over ('rest stop') at the ZD Rutherford Estate. Following the ride, indulge in The Food & Wine Marketplace! Participants share their stories of the "Crush" as post-ride entertainment paired with delicious food and wine from many Napa Valley Restaurants and Wineries will round out the afternoon.

The Crush Challenge is proud to announce that former professional cyclists and members of the venerated Team 7-Eleven that first brought the USA to the Tour de France will be joining us for our private ride, where they will be riding in support of their teammate Davis Phinney and his foundation for Parkinson's. This is your opportunity to catch the wheel (and a story or two) from the athletes that traveled the world in pursuit of yellow and pink jerseys, medals and glory on the cobblestones of the classics.
