Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On October 14th I will be participating in the 46th Annual Amherst A Better Chance Fall Foliage 5K Walk/Run. Donations received will help support the Amherst ABC program and the scholars that live at the ABC House in Amherst and attend Amherst Regional High School.
I used to participate in this event with my kids back in the day when it was a VERY LONG walk. Now its just a 5K and since I have picked up my running shoes again in the past few months, I thought this would be about my speed. For old times sake, my son Josh (AKA Mr. Nugent at Amherst Highschool) will participate with me, though I suspect he will finish just slightly ahead of me.
The ABC house is a great organization to support a it creates a win-win situation, offering a group of young people the opportunity for quality public edcuation, and adding to the diversity of our high school.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal. All donations are tax deductible. If you would like to learn more about the organization please visit the ABC website at www.amherstabetterchance.org.
Thank you for your support!
Best ,
Anne
