When our daughter was diagnoised with Epilepsy during her third year of college in 2011 we were clueless on how to handle it? The Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia (EFVA) guided us through several questions and concerns we had, to inlcude linking us to other families dealing with the same concerns and or questions. We have become part of a larger family with the help of EFVA and we learned how to apply first aid and what to say in the event of a seizures, we have shared this critical information with so many people. We are still looking for a medication combination or device to control her seizure activity. EFVA provides many resources to help those in need of support who do not have control of their seizure activity which is why EFVA is important to so many people. There are over 80,000 people diagnosied with Epilepsy in Virgnia alone. Please help continue the epilepsy support services offered by EFVA by contributing to my goal of $5000.00. Over 95% of all funds raised by EFVA stay in Virginia supporting those in need of Epilepsy support, please help if you can!
