Empty Arms provided us with support, understanding, love, and resources, during the devastating loss of our grandson, Ellis. Carol and her team were there for Melissa and Justin from the moment they got the devastating news that their baby would not be born alive. When we arrived to help support them through this grief filled delivery, Empty Arms also met with us and gave us strength. Their efforts provided Melissa and Justin, and all of us, with insight and information, support and soothing, during one of life’s most terrible experiences. We are forever grateful to them. We want to help support their work with families who experience this tragic event.....and see this opportunity as part of our healing as well. Please consider a donation to sponsor us in the 5K fundraiser for Empty Arms. Thanks and love to each of you!
Syrup Stampede
Syrup Stampede will be a fun, family friendly 5k run/walk event. Donations and raised funds will benefit Empty Arms, an organization geared toward helping families of the Pioneer Valley grieve the loss of a pregnancy or infant. The Empty Arms Community Members not only hope to raise awareness of this awesome organization but also hope to demonstrate our want and desire to integrate our losses into poistive events surrounding the memories of our babies.
Empty Arms Bereavement Support serves members of the Western Mass community whose babies have died at any time during pregnancy or early infancy. We look to provide and create a compassionate community, fostering connections, validation, and resources to grieving parents.
