As a team Rescue Project "Pack Leader", I am not only training hard for an event, but I am also raising awareness for animal rescue, fostering, and adoption, a cause I strongly believe in.
Sports such as running, cycling, and triathlon have strong communities; and, many of us are avid animal advocates. Part of the responsibility of an animal advocate is to take action. In joining team Rescue Project, I am making an effort to help my local organizations save more animals and to enrich more lives by encouraging others to foster and adopt animals.
In addition to donating proceeds from their running and cycling apparel and accessories to animal rescue organizations, Rescue Project uses donations to help rescue groups cover vetting (spay and neuter, vaccinations, microchipping), transportation, natural disaster-related rescue efforts, temporary housing, and unforeseen veterinary expenses necessary to resolve urgent medical conditions uncovered during the rescue process.
When you donate, you will be able to see your contribution in action through Rescue Project's instagram and facebook.

Rescue Project uses donations to help independent rescue groups cover vetting (spay and neuter, vaccinations, microchipping), transportation, natural disaster-related rescue efforts, temporary housing, and unforeseen veterinary expenses necessary to resolve urgent medical conditions uncovered during the rescue process.
