This will be my third year doing this ride and I am very excited!!

With all of you generous donations I have been able to donate to the JDRF over $3,000.00!! This puts a huge smile on my face and I hope it does yours also.

My goal this year is to raise over $2,000.00 and anything that you are generous enough to donate will go a long ways.

Stay tuned for updates on this page and my facebook page regarding the opportunity to put a personal message or a sponsorship logo on a custom jersey that I will wear during the ride to show everyone how great my family and friends are.

Below are some facts on Juvenile Diabetes and how it impacts the individual.

Did you know T1D:

- Strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. 

- Occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Insulin is essential to turning food into energy. 

 - Requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.

JDRF is working every day to change this. And every dollar I raise helps them continue to bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the community until a cure is found. 

I have been hard at work training and fundraising, and your gift today will propel me toward the finish line. Please donate and help JDRF achieve its goal of a world without T1D.

Be a part of one of the Michigan traditions - 150ish miles in one day or One Day Ride Across Michigan.
