I am fortunate that I don't have any personal experience with epilepsy, but I have friends whose family members are living with this disorder, which affects not only the individual but the entire family.  The Tour de Midnight is owned by the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia, and all proceeds from the event go towards their mission and programs.  I have the easy task of riding my bike 100km and enjoying a beer at Midnight Brewery after the fact.  Those living with epilepsy don't always share that luxury.
