Thanks for checking out my Hungry Lion Bike Tour fundraising page. On September 29, 2018 I will be riding my bicycle in the Green Mountains of Vermont and Berkshires of Massachusetts. While I enjoy the cycling, I am really enthusiastic about enabling our Whitingham-Halifax Lions to serve their community in a significant way.
The primary purpose of this event is to fight hunger in southern Vermont, and spread cheer! Every December the Lions team up with Rotary to hand deliver food, filling the cupboards for hundreds of people in the Deerfield Valley of Southern Vermont with nutritious food staples. For the last three years HLBT has also generated enough funds to write generous checks to the local food pantry as well.
Because we partner with the Vermont Food Bank and use all volunteer help, you contribution really makes a difference. I appreciate it and so do a large number of folks in Vermont!

Hungry Lion Bike Tour
A benefit ride for the Hunger Relief Program that is spearheaded by the Whitingham-Halifax Lions. There will be 10,35, 55 and 75 mile tours. Participants are encouraged to solicit sponsorships and prizes will be awarded. Those who raise a modest amount are awarded a custom pro cycling jersey.
