I plan to Climb to Conquer Cancer on September 22nd. The event is a bike ride that features a competitive climb up iconic Libby Hill in Richmond, Virginia. This hill, made famous during Cycling Worlds in 2015, is curvy and made of cobblestones. Not everyone can climb the hill.
Why am I attempting this feat? Because funds raised during this event will support cancer patients and fund life-saving cancer research taking place at Massey Cancer Center at VCU, right here in Richmond.
The award ceremony, featuring red polka dot jerseys, awarded to the "King of the Hill" and "Queen of the Hill," is the highlight of the event, with a touching view of how participants' dollars are making a real difference. This event is put on by Amy's Army of Cancer Warriors, dedicated to fighting cancer.

Climb to Conquer Cancer is a bike ride that features two competitive climbs up iconic Libby Hill in Richmond, Virginia. Not everyone can climb the hill, but competitors will do so in order to raise funds for those fighting cancer. For those climbing their own hill.
