In August I’ll be participating in the Cigna/Elliot Corporate 5K Road Race in downtown Manchester to help fund and build a new, comprehensive, $29M Elliot Regional Cancer Center in Manchester to better serve our families, friends and neighbors. In previous years I've walked to support friends that have been affected by cancer, directly or indirectly. This year, I walk for all my loved ones, with us still, and watching us from above, that have been touched by it in recent years. It seems this hits every family, time and time again. Any donation you are able to make towards helping support the patients and their families in the new facility this will benefit is greatly appreciated! Your contributions, no matter what size, are so important in the progress being made to keep our loved ones with us.

Cigna / Elliot Corporate 5k Road Race
We are raising much-needed funds for the construction of a new, comprehensive, $29M+ Elliot Regional Cancer Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. The new cancer center will bring surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, infusion and other treatments under a single roof for patient and family convenience. The new center will also add local thoracic surgery options, as well as Nurse Navigators to help each patient during their cancer care journey. Thank you so much for your support. Fundraising Prizes for Teams and Individuals: We will be offering a Catered Lunch Delivered To Your Office for the Top Fundraising Team per the PledgReg total at race start time. We will be offering Road Race Canvas Sport Backpacks to the first 150 participants to raise $100 or more in this PledgeReg system at race start time. We will also offer Road Race Eddy CamelBak Water Bottles to the first 50 individuals to raise $350 or more in this PledgeReg system at race start time. As you register for the race, you will be emailed a link to a pre-loaded and personalized fundraising page, and will become eligible for some great fundraising prizes. You can share why supporting expanded cancer care locally is important to you, and you can share your personal fundraising page with friends, co-workers and family members. Be sure to also post your link on social media to encourage your friends to support the race, and our work to further improve cancer care for our community. You may also modify this page with photos, your own story, personal goals, and more.
All contributions will be managed by the Mary & John Elliot Charitable Foundation, a charitable, tax-exempt 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to providing financial support to the various needs of the local community and of the Elliot Health System. 100% of the net proceeds received by the Foundation will be directed to the capital campaign for the new Elliot Regional Cancer Center. Funds raised through the Delta Dental/Elliot Corporate Road Race will support patient programs at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot. 100% of your donations will provide funding for programs and services at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care including nutrition assistance and programs, rehabilitation therapy, integrative medicine, and support programs for patients as they manage their journey with cancer. Specialized programs include:

Art Therapy
Journaling classes
Game Nights for cancer survivors
Acupuncture and Reiki
Cooking Classes for specialized and healthy food options during treatment
The Solinsky Center at Elliot Hospital offers radiation oncology, medical oncology with state-of-the-art technology, caring and skilled health care providers, in one convenient location. Along with the expansion of clinical services, our Patient and Family Nurse Navigator Program provides additional support to patients and their caregivers. Nurse navigators help patients with understanding different care options, provide scheduling and billing support, and assist with patient advocacy. Together, we ensure Hope is Here.
