Before I head off to graduate school, I wanted to push myself with one last crazy challenge. So, on Saturday, August 20, 2011 I will bike up Mount Washington, a 7.6 mile all-uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States. The road is so steep that even cars struggle to make it to the top. Not only is this a great opportunity to test myself, but also raise awareness and funds for the Tin Mountain Conservation Center.
You can help me support a great environmental organization, Tin Mountain Conservation Center, which has provided environmental education to over 75,000 students, campers and individuals throughout schools and communities in Northern New Hampshire and western Maine for over 30 years.
Thanks!
Josh
