Hi Everyone!

Thank you for checking out my JDRF ODRAM fundraising page! JDRF stands for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  This year marks 10 years for this great event. It is a 1-day bike ride that covers 150 miles across the entire state of Michigan. This will be my second time taking part (and New Year's Resolution) and I'm so excited to raise money and create awareness for the JDRF. The ride takes place August 2019. My goal is to raise 1k. I know with your help, we can do it. All proceeds will benefit the research for Juvenile Diabetes. I'm also looking for anyone willing to match donation goals as well. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. I'm also looking for others interested in taking part; whether to cheer us on or even take part in the ride.

Thank you! - Brian

I’m taking part in the 2019 ODRAM, along with hundreds of riders from around the world, to raise money for JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

Did you know T1D:

- Strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle.

- Occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Insulin is essential to turning food into energy.

 - Requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.

JDRF is working every day to change this. And every dollar I raise helps them continue to bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the community until a cure is found.

I have been hard at work training and fundraising, and your gift today will propel me toward the finish line. Please donate and help JDRF achieve its goal of a world without T1D.

Please check back to view my fundraising progress as my ODRAM weekend approaches. Thank you for your support.
