As part of the ride I am raising funds for Barnstable Land Trust. I spent my growing up years in the woods and oceans of Cape Cod and am connected to the nature of this place like no other. I get joy from it every day.
The mission of the Barnstable Land Trust is to protect the special places people love for present and future generations.We advance our mission through land conservation and stewardship, community engagement, and advocacy for our natural resources. Barnstable Land Trust (BLT) is the only private nonprofit organization dedicated solely to preserving the open spaces and natural resources within the Town of Barnstable on Cape Cod.
Over 35 years, BLT has protected 1,100 acres of land in Barnstable’s seven villages and supported the conservation of 8,000 acres of Town land, which now host incredible walking, birding and scenic vistas and the best mountain biking trails on the Cape. Conservation land also protects our threatened drinking water supply, provided by Cape Cod's sole source aquifer, and prevents further nitrification of our bays and estuaries.
BLT is supported by generous contributions from the community and from our members. By contributing to our work, you are directly ensuring that the Cape Cod lands and waters you love will be there for your kids and grandkids to enjoy.

Tour de Barnstable: Barnstable Land Trust
This ride is a shorter distance but as the name implies, and will be great fun for all participants! This a 38-mile ride through the 7 villages of the Town of Barnstable on Cape Cod, MA that passes by many of Barnstable Land Trust's conservation properties.
