As a general rule I try not to make direct pleas for support of the various events I am involved with.  The Tour de Barnstable is that once a year exception.   

I am riding 38 miles to benefit Calmer Choice.  I do this as my way of helping to make the world a kinder more campassionate place for everyone.

Please give generously; in fact give till it hurts and I won't bother you for the rest of the year.

Calmer Choice is a universal prevention program committed to teaching young people how to effectively and safely manage stress and resolve conflict so that they live happy, healthy and successful lives. Our goal is to provide skills that will diminish the risk of violence, substance abuse, and other self-destructive behaviors
