Dear friends. This coming August 10th I will be riding again my bike for 150 miles in one day. The cause? Helping to find a cure for type one diabetes. For my son Samuel, amazing things have been possible thanks to breakthrough technology. I have attached two graphs to share with you the power of technology to bring control and peace of mind over a life threatening condition. Continuing the present research efforts is crucial for the technology to keep advancing, and eventually made a cure possible during Samuel's lifespan.
The results? From January 2019 to present, we have been able to reduce Samuel’s high glucose levels by 19%, increase his time in healthy glucose range by 23% and reduce his glucose variability by 15%.

- Strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle.
- Occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Insulin is essential to turning food into energy.
