Hello friends and family!

Once again, I’m looking forward to returning to the Vermont 100 Endurance Race - this year as part of Vermont Adaptive Team Run 2 Empower, and my “home team” SIX03 Endurance

I first participated in the Vermont 100 in 2016 as a pacer for a good friend who was running his first 100K. EVERYTHING about the experience captivated me, and I knew I would be back.

I returned for my first 100K in 2017, and my first 100 mile race in 2018.

I continue to be amazed with this event, the people (runners, pacers, crew members, organizers, volunteers and spectators), and the worthy cause it supports: Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports.

I’ll be returning to the 100 mile race this year with several “PR” goals in mind:

  1. Raise even more $ for a great cause
  2. Have even more fun with great friends, crews, competitors and volunteers
  3. FINISH again, and in less time (ideally under 24 hours)

* Note for the non-runners: “PR” = “Personal Record” ;)

For 2019, I've joined up with Vermont Adaptive Team Run 2 Empower in hopes of making an even bigger difference (see #1 PR goal above!) to the fundraising efforts that are at the heart the Vermont 100.

This amazing race is put on every year to help bring sports and recreational opportunities to people with disabilities through Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports. (More on this below, and on their website www.vermontadaptive.org).

Take a closer look and see what the Vermont 100 and Vermont Adaptive are all about, and please consider making a donation if you are able to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet theirs too!. Thank you!

In the meantime, as in previous years ... if you're looking for me, I'll be out on the roads and trails putting in some training miles!

John
