I'm trying to do my part to support more outdoor activities in Mattapoisett. I hope you will support my ride.
Thank you.
2019 Mattapoisett Tour de Crème
The Mattapoisett Tour de Crème is not one, but four bicycle tours of the ice cream stands and creameries near the Buzzards Bay town of Mattapoisett, MA. Put on by the Friends of the Mattapoisett Bike Path together with the Mattapoisett Land Trust, proceeds support efforts to build a bike path to Marion and improve trails on the land trust's preserves.
As a thank-you for your efforts, we offer the following fundraising perks:
· for $100, we'll set you up with a delicious lobster roll from the Oxford Creamery's Oxcart.
· for $250, we'll give you a nifty set of rechargeable front and rear Kryptonite bike lights.
· for $500, you'll receive a simply fabulous Tour de Crème bike jersey. It takes a while to get them, so you'll need to raise the amount by April 15 to receive it on the day of the event.
· for $1000, you get it all -- the jersey, the lights and the lobster roll!.
Thank you for helping us improve outdoor recreational activities in Mattapoisett.
The Friends of the Mattapoisett Bike Path is an all-volunteer non-profit 501c3 organization, working since 1999 to complete Mattapoisett’s portion of the federally funded South Coast Bikeway. We fund raise, provide information and generate support for Mattapoisett’s Rail Trail.
The Mattapoisett Land Trust, Inc. (MLT), formed in 1974, preserves land to enrich the quality of life for present and future generations of Mattapoisett residents and visitors. MLT presently protects over 900 acres including forests, meadows, wetlands, salt marsh, vernal pools, beaches and barrier islands. All MLT lands are open for public use, and many include trails and other improvements.
