Why I Ride
Tony Settel
I ride to remember, and to honor, all of those precious little ones taken from us on that day. I ride for the educators who gave their all. As a father to a seven year old, as a guidance counselor who has spent two decades serving students, as a temporary para professional who worked in a 1st grade classroom, my connection to the staff and students is visceral. I ride in this group to show, through action, that I hear the cries of victims of gun violence, empathize and stridently appeal for common-sense laws to at least begin to curb the gun epidemic in our country. I ride to show you that you and those whom you have lost are neither forgotten nor alone.

THE WE ARE ONE RIDE
Team 26 will ride from Newtown to Pittsburgh.
We will leave Newtown on April 26th and arrive in Pittsburgh on May 2nd with stops in Peekskill, Morristown, Trenton, Philadelphia, the University of Delaware, Baltimore, Gettysburg, and many small towns.
Our message remains the same:
Peace, Hope, Love.
To reduce gun violence, we must all come together as one Nation to stomp out hate.
So, we'll ride to Pittsburgh uniting Newtown with Squirrel Hill and all communities in between.
We will ride with Charlestown, Christchurch, Sutherland Springs, and Oak Creek in our hearts.
An attack on one faith is an attack on all faiths.
