Hi Folks!
Glad you could visit my Hot Chocolate Run fundraising page! On December 4, I will be participating in this year’s Hot Chocolate Run to benefit Safe Passage. As most of you know, I work as the Children's Counselor/Advocate for Safe Passage, an organization in Northampton, MA that provides comprehensive, free services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
People sometimes ask me how I manage to do such hard work. I often answer by saying that my experience is nothing compared to the experiences of the children I work with. Beyond that, they help me to be a better person.
Listening to their stories, it is clear that standing idle is not an option.
I know firsthand the dedication and heart we all bring to the table at Safe Passage. We are passionate about ending violence in our communities, but know we cannot do this work alone. I am asking all of you to please donate what you can to this event.
All money raised goes to support Safe Passage’s counseling, advocacy and shelter services, and all contributions are tax deductible.
A heartfelt thank you!
Bridget

if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let
us work together."
