I come from a proud military background. Both of my grandfathers, my father, and 3 of my uncles have served. I followed that tradition and served in the US Navy. One of my grandfathers served in the Army and one in the Navy. My father (pictured with me at Pearl Harbor) served in the Army. One of my uncles served in the Navy and two served in the Army. While 2 of them served during the Vietnam War, one of my uncles in the army was stationed in Vietnam. The sacrifices those in the military make or have made, whether in war or during paece time, should never be taken lightly. Those that were involved in combat have additional emotional and sometimes physical burdons that they carry with them for the rest of their lives. These men and women are the REAL heros. They did not start the wars and conflicts they were in, but went where they were sent....to defend the freedoms we enjoy on a daily basis. Freedom is NOT free. My team rides not only for the disabled veterans of NH but for ALL veterans and all those currnetly serving in the military. Please join my team and support my team.

Through funds raised at Veterans Counts events, such as the Veterans Count Ride, Easterseals Military & Veterans Services, has provided services to more than 18,000 service members, veterans and their families in a variety of ways including suicide risk, unemployment, homelessness, substance use disorders, legal concerns, and mental health issues. In addition, MVS in partnership with Veterans Count, has provided emergency financial assistance for food, utilities, housing, transportation, fuel, and vehicle repair.
