Listen you guys. This Down syndrome thing is a part of our life. We honestly don't think about it all that much except with regard to her schooling because Abby is basically exactly like the other people you know. Actually she's better than most of the other people we know. But not everybody thinks that way about people with Down syndrome so we do this walking thing every year.
I've intentionally set the fundraising bar extremely low because I don't care about that part.
The part that makes this day fun is our friends and family.
So we'd love it if you put this date on your calendar and came to join us for a fun morning. If you can't walk, no worries - you'll have company while others walk! And free lunch, and great music, and a pretty awesome raffle in a beautiful park. Above all, your faith in humanity will be restored after a morning with your pal, Abby, and so many of our other chromosomally enhanced friends. :)
