I am running the Western Mass Mother's Day Half Marathon in May to help do my part in 'Paying it forward', but I am also running this race in honor of some amazing ladies in my life that have made a huge impact. They unfortunately lost their battles with Cancer, but I can run with their memory and spirit, and that is what drives me. Please consider helping me raise funds to help Cancer Connection of Northampton, MA to help people dealing with cancer, as well as their caregivers and family members. This local non-profit offers a multitude of classes, services, therapies and support groups to help better the quality of life for those affected.
Running the distance of 13.1 miles is easy in comparison to battling the cancer demon. With your help, crossing the finish line will be in honor of friends and family that Cancer has effected in one way or another. Please support me and help me reach my goal.
Smiles, Kaye

Unfortunately for many, even though much of the world has stopped, cancer has not. Comfort, connection, and strength are available today through Cancer Connection's phone and online services. This was a chance for us to pay it forward, get a run in, volunteer safely from home, and have a little bit of fun. Thank you so much for participating!
