Welcome to my JDRF ODRAM fundraising page!
I’m taking part as a volunteer in the 2020 ODRAM. This was one of Paul's favorite rides every year and although I can't ride 150 miles across the state, I have decided to honor him by volunteering this year. In past years we "leap frogged" each other across the state...him on his bike and me in my car. Last year, just days before he took his final ride, he did ODRAM and finished with his fastest time ever...at 80 years old. The man was amazing and so full of life.
Hundreds of riders from around the world will be raising money for JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Did you know T1D:
- Strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle.
- Occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Insulin is essential to turning food into energy.
- Requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
JDRF is working every day to change this. And every dollar I raise helps them continue to bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the community until a cure is found.

ODRAM (One Day Ride Across Michigan)
Be a part of one of the Michigan traditions - 150ish miles in one day or One Day Ride Across Michigan.
