Welcome to my fundraising page! I am very excited to raise money for Beads of Courage because it was something a friend of our family believed in greatly and where we held her memorial service when she passed away at 12 years old. I believe they do good things and offer happiness and hope. I feel like we learned a lot from Abbie Kunnemann and raising money for them honors her legacy as an energetic, inspiring, and rambunctious girl. GO TEAM ABBIE! #TEAMABBIE. The mission of Beads of Courage is to provide innovative arts-in-medicine programs for children coping with cancer and other serious illnesses. Through our flagship Beads of Courage Program, children receive colorful beads that visually symbolize moments of courage along their treatment journey. Our organization improves the quality of life of more than 60,000 children receiving treatment for a serious illness in 400 children's hospitals in eight countries.
