I am taking part in this virtual ride because I know it will make a difference in the lives of people with bleeding disorders around the world. With your donation you can help me support Save One Life and change the course of someone's life. These folks do amazing things with your donations. Their personal contact approach is the best way to help our blood brothers and sisters overseas. I suggest you find a way to see (or BUY) Bombardier Blood, a movie about how Save One Life's Executive Director Chris Bombardier grew to understand in a personal way how well off he was and how poorly off are so many suffering from lack of treatment. In his quest to climb Mount Everest as the first hemophiliac to do so,he encountered numerous Tibetan hemophiliacs whose signatures he carried to the top and whose plight he now works to alleviate.

A Virtual Cycling Event

Ride anywhere! Ride inside or out!
For those riding local to Ipswich MA we will have parking, restrooms and snacks available on September 12 and 13 from 7:30 am -12:30 pm. A 25 mile route and a metric century (62 mile) route will be available for cyclists to follow. These routes will be self-supported.
Register anytime before September 15 and receive a Bike Box which includes many items to support future rides. Unfortunately, we can not guarantee Bike Boxes will be delivered before September 1 for registrations received after August 18.

Barry Haarde inspired individuals with and without bleeding disorders when he cycled across the country 6 times and raised over $253,000 for Save One Life. Sadly, Barry passed away suddenly in 2018. Save One Life continues to honor his memory with a memorial ride. This community ride recognizes Barry’s contribution to the bleeding disorder community and encourages healthy and active living.
Last year, Chris Seistrup continued Barry's legacy when he won the hardest mountain bike race in the U.S. on his first attempt! This summer he was scheduled to ride across Europe in the Transcontinental Race, one of the world’s toughest ultra-endurance races. Due to COVID-19, this race was cancelled.
