Welcome to my fundraising page for the 10th annual Will Bike 4 Food!
Covid 19 has reveled more inequities in the safety nets, established to support the most vulneralbe. MY personal concern is KIDS (as those of you who know me can attest) According to https://www.feedingamericaaction.org/the-impact-of-coronavirus-on-food-insecurity/. the projected food insecurity rate for children living in Hampshire county will be %17.2. Participating in this fundraising event is a way for me to provide needed funds to an orgainization dedicated to feeding families
This is a fun cyling event that helps feed our neighbors in need and end hunger in western Mass. by raising funds and awareness for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Every $1 can provide 4 meals for a local family who needs them most. Contributions of any size to my efforts are appreciated. 100% of your donation will go to support The Food Bank's mission (unavoidable credit card fees notwithstanding). All donations are tax deductible. Thank you!
My personal Biking goal for the month-atleast 50 miles a week--200 miles--which mathces my monetry goal!

Since 1982, The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger. We distribute food to our member agencies in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties. These independent pantries, meal sites and shelters are on the front lines of emergency food assistance in our region, playing a crucial role helping individuals, families, seniors and children. Every $1 donated to The Food Bank can purchase 4 meals for a family who needs them most.
