On Saturday, August 18, 2012 I will bike up Mount Washington, a 7.6 mile all-uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States. Last year I broke the record for my age group by ten minutes, getting a time of 1:28:55.  This year I hope to break the record again and get under 1:25.

I also can qualify for a junior scholarship if I can reach my fundraising goal by June 1st!  They only allot four scholarships each year for younger racers.  If you can contribute, please respond early.

The Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb is the largest annual fundraiser for Tin Mountain Conservation Center.  You can help me support a great environmental organization, Tin Mountain Conservation Center, which has provided environmental education to over 75,000 students, campers and individuals throughout schools and communities in Northern New Hampshire and western Maine for over 30 years.
