On Saturday, August 18, 2012 I will race my bicycle up Mount Washington, a 7.6 mile all-uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States. The Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb is the largest annual fundraiser for Tin Mountain Conservation Center and is considered to be the toughest bicycle hill climb in the world!
You can help me support a great environmental organization, Tin Mountain Conservation Center, which has provided environmental education to over 75,000 students, campers and individuals throughout schools and communities in Northern New Hampshire and western Maine for over 30 years.
Last year I finished my inaugural race mid-field with a finish time of 1 hour 31 minutes. This year I hope to shatter that time by setting my sights on the cutoff time of 1:20:00 which would allow me to enter the 2013 race with the top tier wave of riders that compete for the glory of being the first to break the tape at the top of the mountain.
Thanks for all that you can give to Tin Mountain. Their hard work and dedication goes a long way to preserving our natural landscapes and improving our world.

Since it was founded in 1980 by Barbara Rockwell Henry and David Henry in Jackson, NH, the Center has offered hands-on programs in the schools, at summer camps, and within communities throughout northern New Hampshire and western Maine. Each year Tin Mountain works with over 5,000 in public and private school, in addition to its homeschool programs. To see a sample of our work with students, click here.
