Friends
The time of the year where I begin my training for ODRAM (One Day Ride Across Michigan) is here. On August 14th, I will take the start for a bike ride, 150 miles, from Montague to Bay City, MI.
My son Samuel (6 years old) has been Type 1 diabetic since September of 2017. I’ve been riding and fundraising for this event for several years, 2021 will be ODRAM #7. It is approved to happen after last year’s cancellation due to COVID-19.
If you would like to donate, all goes straight to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), whose mission is finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes, and deeply in my heart I hope such a cure is found in my son’s lifespan.
I have improved a lot as a cyclist, recently finishing 2nd in a 130 miles race in Boyne City, MI, so I’m very motivated to make 2021 the best ODRAM ever!!! Thanks in advance for your support and rooting for me!!!
Sincerely,
Samuel, Paola and Daniel
