Welcome to my fundraising page for the 11th annual Will Bike 4 Food! This is a fun and active cycling event that helps raise funds and awareness for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Every $1 raised will provide 4 meals for a neighbor in need. Contributions of any size to my efforts are appreciated. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you!
This year I would like to dedicate my ride to my wife Cathy. Since I began participating in WB4F in 2015, Cathy has been my Number 1 advocate. Her encouragement, support, and love has never wavered all these years. Hers is the last face I see at the start, and the first I see at the finish. Even though I may be riding single on my bike, ours is definitely a tandem effort. Thanks, Cath, for everything!
Hello All,
The 11th Annual WB4F is now history. Over 100 riders spread out along the 25 mile route on September 26. The weather was gorgeous, but a fierce headwind made for some tough pedaling. Luckily I was familiar with the course, and made sure I saved some energy for the big climb over the Sugarloafs.
More headwinds hit as we journeyed north on Route 5 to Deerfield, but with the turnaround those headwinds became tailwinds, and the going got easier. Cycling through farm country with scenic vistas and reduced traffic is always pleasant, and today was no exception.
As I made my way back to the Lions Club Pavilion in Hatfield I reflected on my passion for cycling and how good health has allowed me to channel that passion for the benefit of others. My thanks, once again, to everyone who supported my efforts with their donations. If you still want to donate, the website is open through October 15.

Will Bike 4 Food
Will Bike 4 Food (WB4F) is back for its 11th year! This fun cycling event raises funds and awareness for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Cyclists of all levels can pedal towards a hunger-free future by choosing from 10, 25, 50, or 100-mile routes. Registered riders can also participate in the Ride & Seek Community Challenge beginnning on June 26th or ride independently to fundraise. Everyone who signs up by September 6th gets a free T-shirt.

Live Event Date: Sunday, September 26, 2021 (note: fundraising remains open until October 15th)
Event Location: Hatfield Lions Club Pavilion, Billings Way, Hatfield Ma., 01038.
- For GPS purposes, you may need to search for The Hatfield Library, 39 Main Street, Hatfield Ma., 01038 or the Hatfield Elementary School – Any of these addresses/landmarks will take you to the correct location.
Ride kick-off times:
7:00AM – 100 Mile (Century)
10:15AM – 50 Mile
12:00PM – 25 Mile
1:30PM – 10 Mile
Fundraising Requirements if Attending the Live Event (Age 18+):
- $175 - If registered by 8/31/21
- $250 - If registered on or after 9/1/21
Fundraising Requirements for Children and Teens (through age 17) Attending Live Event or any other way of participating:
- None - However we highly encourage everyone to do some fundraising.

Cash and checks can be turned in the day of the ride. Please make any checks out to "The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts." Checks can be mailed prior to event-day or up until October 15th.
