El Tour de Tucson is a 501(c)3 non-profit that rides to support charities, community, health and wellness. This year I am riding to support those experiencing domestic abuse by raising funds for Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse.
Emerge believes that together we can build a community where every individual lives free from abuse. We provide support services to those experiencing abuse, including a 24/7 hotline, a crisis shelter, and wrap-around services to help survivors heal. We also engage the community in changing behaviors that foster abuse so that the cycle of abuse can be broken.
