Tater Tots
Hi, my name is Tatiyana Orrego-Dupree. This is my personal story as to why you should donate to my team and my school.
I am an 11year old girl in the 6th grade. I moved in with my dad back in December of 2016 from Maine to Massachusetts. This was really hard for me cause I grew up with my mother all my life and she is what i was used to for so long and we had a very good bond. This move was really stressful on me because it happened so suddenly and just like that my whole life had changed. My dad did everything in his power to get me situated and make it work with everything happening so fast. This was a huge change for the both of us. Saint Columbkille had heard my story through Father Terry at Boston College about what was going on in my life and right away they accepted me with open arms. Saint Columbkille knew how hard my dad was working to make sure I had the best education in the best school. They also want the same for me.
I am so glad that my dad got me into Saint Columbkille because I have a much better education than I did at my old schools. I know I am getting a better education because I am learning things that I've never learned before. They care for me, they protect me and they love me as one of their own. Since day one my teachers, fellow students and all of the staff at saint Columbkille had not just been friends to me but also have grown to be like family to me!
I am blessed to have gotten the oppurtunity to go to such a good, loving school. We are the future of tomorrow. The future is me. Please support my school so that they can continue to provide me and many others with the best education we can get. Your donations would allow families like mine to receive scholarships to continue furthering our education at St. Columbkille!
Thank You Yours Truly,
Tatiyana Orrego-Dupree
