Having lived in Tucson, AZ for three years during my Internal Medicine Residency, I became intimiately familiar with the El Tour De Tucson (usually from the emergency room perspective treating participants in accidents). Fast forward several years later to 2018 when I got a Peloton bike and really developed the itch to ride more and get into road bikes and racing. In 2021, I finally own a road bike and have LOVED going out in the hills of the Bay Area to explore the beautiful landscapes and challenge my fitness levels. Now, with my parents fully retired and living north of Tucson in Marana, the El Tour De Tucson serves a double purpose of being my first bike race and a reason to visit family and old friends.

I would owe you a debt of gratitude if you follow me on my journey, motivate me to be my best, and also help the Ben's Bells Project which is so vitally important to the Tucson community. I have set the goal fundraising at $200 but would love nothing more than to exceed that goal!
