Welcome to my fundraising page!
My father was diagnosed with ALS in September 2018 and the last 3 years have been rough. The Susan Mast ALS Foundation provides support for ALS patients and their families/caregivers. They have been especially helpful during the last year and a half when it has been difficult for family and friends to gather in person. Prior to my dad's diagnosis I did not know much about this disease. I'm excited to raise support and awareness for ALS patients, families and caregivers in Western Michigan! Tim, Nora and I will be joining my parents for the 1 Mile Walk at the 3rd Annual PedALS event on Sunday, September 26th.
I appreciate anything you can give!

PedALS weekend is important because every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS, and every 90 minutes someone passes away from ALS.
This year PedALS is all weekend long! Join us on Saturday, September 25th at the home of Phil Vanderlugt for our PedALS Bike Ride and party to follow.
Then meet us on Sunday, September 26th at Dwight Lydell Park for a 1 Mile Walk & 5K!

We hope to see you there!
We are here because every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes someone dies from ALS.
At this time, there is no cure or treatment for ALS...
At the Susan Mast ALS Foundation, we help families that live with ALS today.
The vision of the Susan Mast ALS Foundation is to build a strong foundation to ensure all ALS patients and families have the much needed support, guidance and resources available to them today and years to come. We strive to strengthen and build our relationships with community partners so we can continue our mission of providing excellent support to ALS patients, families and caregivers in all of West Michigan.
