Hi there, Madelyn here!
Okay, this is not really Madelyn, this is her mother speaking. Madelyn is 4 months old and still quite illiterate. But I can tell you for a fact that Madelyn wants you to donate to her walk page, and here's why:
I...errr Madelyn has always loved animals. Before she was born her golden retriever brother would stick his fat head onto my pregnant belly and squish...I mean hug her. Madelyn decided to come into the world 8 weeks early, probably because she kept hearing her animal siblings and wanted to join in the fun. Unfortunately, Madelyn couldn't come home right when she was born. Instead, she spent a month in the NICU. But during that time she had pictures of her farmily hanging around her hospital bed so she could learn their names and faces by the time she was ready to come home.
On May 17th when Madelyn was finally able to come home and meet the farm, it was love at first sight. No, not really. Again, she was an infant and really couldn't see that far in front of her face. But she loves them now, I promise!
These days Madelyn spends her time getting licked by her dog siblings, getting stepped on by her cat siblings, getting pecked at by her chicken siblings, or having her toes chomped by her goat siblings. I mean she spends a lot of time eating and pooping like all other infants, she just has a big farmily that she needs to split her time with.
I know what you are thinking, Madelyn doesn't have enough siblings! To which I....err Madelyn would agree! This brings us to the point of this story and why you want to donate to Madelyn's walk page.
See Madelyn greatly believes in the cause, however she got a little additional motivation from her dad who has promised me...errr her that she can get a donkey if she hits her goal of $14,000. So, if you can find it in your heart and your wallet to help make this little girl's dream come true, please consider donating to her walk page! And I know that this is a very selfish reason to want you to donate, but give her a break, she's only 4months old so she really has no morals yet. The ARLNH is a non-profit organization that helps more than 2,000 animals every year. Their mission is to improve animal welfare in the community by helping pets and the people who care for them. Aside from providing shelter for the animals, the ARLNH provides community outreach programs such as the food pantry program, pet medical assistance fund, low-cost spay/neuter clinics, and more.
