I'm so glad you are here!
And I do mean on my fundraising page! But also, a warm and supportive welcome is what Krempels Center is all about.
Brain injury survivors attending Krempels Center have experienced a traumatic event that has upended the life they once knew. What was once easy--communication, memory, organization, mobility--isn't anymore. Relationships, careers, independence, and mastery of every day tasks and recreational activities have been impacted. Its a lonely place without a clear path ahead.
Krempels Center welcomes brain injury survivors, who and where they are today, and, with peer support and therapeutic programming, a new, meaningful path is found. With new friends made along the way.
We didn't miss a beat through COVID-19, running our program virtually for over a year. We are back to in-person programming AND still run virtually as well, to ensure those who can't make it to the Center have access to services. I’m so proud to be the Executive Director of this impactful program!
This event is our biggest fundraiser, and it is also in person AND virtual this year! I’m going to ride virtually, 100 miles over 10 days (Oct 15-24), and hope you’ll consider $5 or $10 for each of those 10 days, as I work toward my goal of $1,000. Your gift means the 85% of our participants who attend on an income-based sliding scale can continue to attend without financial hardship. Every donation helps, and I am thankful for your support!
