Mudslinger Adventure Squad
The Mudslinger Adventure squad is unique in that this "Squad" is meant to have both ethnic and gender diversity of 30%. We seek adventure and the road less traveled! Over the 30 years of personal cycling involvement, the participation of women is 15-20 percent at the highest point of the overall cycling population. We aim for 30% overall! We are not agenda-driven, except to the point of a good day on the bike! While the sport of cyclings heritage is European and male by nature (Like me), the opportunity to reach out and educate, ride, and participate in events is something everyone can enjoy. We need to change through a welcoming environment that celebrates the ride and also giving it your all! We also look to promote more inclusivity of the LGBTQ community, reaching out to encourage others who may not be aware of the great outdoors and the gift of cycling.
Sasquatch Duro
Deep in the Pacific Northwest in Oakridge, Oregon you will find endless gravel roads and world class singletrack. The Sasquatch Duro event is looking for a few fun-loving riders to ride 45 miles in the Big Squatch loop or 30 miles in the little Little Squatch loop and raise money for the Alpine Trail Care Crew Association. Make sure if you don't ride the Sasquatch Duro on your mountain bike to bring a mountain bike or rent one for your post-Sasquatch Duro recovery ride Sunday am! Please support the Alpine Trail Care Association
Alpine Trail Crew Assn. dba: Oakridge Trails Alliance
Our mission is to preserve and protect the Alpine Trail system and trails throughout the Willamette National Forest, for future generations of outdoor enthusiasts, while also educating future trail stewards on sustainable trail building and maintenance techniques. Thanks to our supporters in 2021, Alpine Trail Care Crew Association or ATCA generated over 1200 volunteer hours with almost two miles of new trail on the Alpine Cloverpatch Connector.
