LEAVE CANCER IN THE DUST!
Hi all,
I need your help. A local race, the Bridge of Flowers, and my first event in four years is coming up on August 11. The course is famous for a hill that climbs at over 11% in one section. This year I'm running to celebrate my ability... to run again (yay!) and to support a local organization named Forest Moon.
Last year, Bridge of Flowers' participants raised over $4,000 towards Forest Moon's free retreats and workshops in the Pioneer Valley. This year, Forest Moon hopes to raise $5,000! With your support, we can make this happen.
As a cancer survivor myself, I can assure you that Forest Moon really makes a difference. It focuses survivors and their families on the good days ahead and teaches skills to deal with life's new realities post-cancer.
Please either join our team on August 11 in Shelburne Falls, MA to run/walk a 10K/3K and fundraise with us -- or consider a gift to support your favorite Forest Moon BOF runner (that would be me I hope!)
Any dollar amount helps and your contribution allows local cancer survivors to get the support they need.
Many thanks -- and wish me luck on Crittenden Hill.
All the best,
Tom
