Thank you for visiting my Citizens Shamrock Half/New Hampshire Food Bank fundraising page!
On March 27, 2021, I will be joining the fight against hunger in New Hampshire by running in the Citizens Shamrock Shuffle. All fundraising proceeds from the race will benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank and the 1 in 9 men, women, and children who are food insecure; meaning they do not know where their next meal is coming from; the New Hampshire Food Bank first opened its doors on World Food Day in 1984. For over 30 years, the New Hampshire Food Bank has served as the only food bank in the state supplying food to over 425 partner agencies as well as providing other resources and programs designed to fight hunger at the root of the cause. In 2017, the New Hampshire Food Bank distributed 13.7 million pounds of food across the entire state.
Lisa and I have been giving to the NH Food Bank on a monthly basis for the last 10 years. Please don't feel you need to donate, I am just posting this as we come out of Covid and get back on the streets participating in 5Ks and other races. It feels so good to start running these races again!!!
