We greatly appreciate your contribution to this worthwhile cause. Thank you for your support!
I did it!!! Rode my bike 51.1 miles on Saturday and 28 miles on Sunday of The Ride! It certainly was a challenge but I felt better afterwards than I expected. My training and yoga-focus definitely paid off! With help of those that have already donated, I got to attend the special dinner Saturday evening at Mohonk Mountain trailhead. (See sunset picture on my FB story.) I learned more about McLean Center -- wonderful organization doing research, treatment and education all to improve our knowledge and understanding of mental health. This Foundation is even funding a fellow at McLean. We met her--a PhD in Neuro-biology (I think) researching effects of trauma on the brain. Sound like critical research these days?
You can still donate to this cause through July 31. Please add your support. I did my part -- rode 79 miles in 2 days. I made my STRETCH goal! Please sponsor my Ride for Mental Health!

The Ride for Mental Health 2022
The Ride for Mental Health is one of the first rides in the country to benefit mental health. The proceeds raised will be donated to McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, for the education, research, and treatment of mental illness including anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse. Our mission is to raise funds for McLean so that we can help accelerate the progress being made to help others who suffer from mental illness.
We also hope to end the stigma surrounding mental illness through education and awareness. The promotion of this ride is a start. Many if not most of us are touched by close friends and relatives who have suffered from one type or another of mental illness.
