Half Acre Cycling
We are a Chicago based team (some offshoots here 'n there) who ride/race the gamut of disciplines: track, mountain, cyclocross, gravel and road. We love to ride and race our bikes. As a team we try to put on events and support causes that bring new racers to the scene and try to make racing fun. We challenge ourselves, but try to keep it all in perspective. Check out the tabs to learn more about us and the fabulous sponsors that support us and if you have questions please email us at hello at half acre cycling dot org. Hope to see you out there on whatever two wheels you're rolling.
Afterglow - A Cyclocross Race
Chicago Cuttin' Crew comes together to give you a few cooldown laps after all the Chicago Cross Cup races are over and the State Championship jerseys have been given out. Now we race because we love cyclocross. When the snow starts to fall and the morning greets us with darkness, we will venture out and endure because it's the competition that keeps us going.
Blackstone Bicycle Works and West Town Bikes continue to be our beneficiaries because no one does local youth cycling programs better. Consider donating a couple more bucks to go directly toward their cyclocross teams! We will have a snazzy donation box for your best bike parts, warm cycling clothing, and cash donations on-site as well.
