Hello, all!! Spring into Action with me! This means combining love of the arts (and we ALL love the arts) with the need to get our bodies moving (which we SHOULD all do!) Spring Into Action is a fundraiser for a project I truly believe in: the full restoration of Easthampton, Massachusetts' Old Town Hall. A beautiful historic building built in 1869, it is finding new life as a center for the arts in Western Massachusetts. Not only is it the home of Big Red Frame, my partner Jean-Pierre Pasche's art gallery and framing business, it also is the location of The Blue Room, a funky, fully renovated performance venue. And upstairs, there is a space, a space that is waiting to become a fully accessible and affordable 350 seat capacity theatre. But it needs a little love. And some money.
This is where you come in! I need to drop my COVID 19 pounds (no, this isn't purely altruistic) and CitySpace needs money. I joined Planet Fitness today so you know this is serious, people! You can shut me up and make a one time donation, or you can pledge a dollar or more for each workout I complete during the month of May (which just so happens to be my birthday month, hint hint.) All the money pledged goes to the creation of a new theatre. We all know the arts makes the world a better place! Oh and, yeah, I need to lose weight. So thank you and I'll see you on the treadmill!!

CitySpace, is a community-driven, volunteer-managed, center for the arts centrally located in downtown Easthampton in the historic Old Town Hall. It's a place for creative possibility and meaningful connections across communities in western Massachusetts. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, CitySpace, restores, preserves, and manages Old Town Hall as a center for the arts in the city of Easthampton for Western Massachusetts.
CitySpace is renovating the 2nd floor of the iconic Old Town Hall, capping a years-long process of returning the building to its original purpose of providing gathering space for the community and offering affordable, fully accessible, state-of-the-art performance space to artists of all genres.
