Hello Everybody,
On Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26, I'll be participating in the Ride for Mental Health. My goal is to do 75 miles: 50 miles on Saturaday and 25 miles on Sunday.
As we're all aware, the last two and a half years have been extremely stressful for all of us. The rates of mental health issues have skyrocketed. This fundraising event is to raise money for McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, for the education, research and treatment of mental illness including anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse.
Please help me in reaching my goal of $1,000. Any amount would be appreciated and, of course, no worries, if you choose not to donate. Putting postive energy out in the universe for me to complete the ride and raise as much money as possible will be appreciated.
Yours,
Jonathan
The Ride for Mental Health 2022
The Ride for Mental Health is one of the first rides in the country to benefit mental health. The proceeds raised will be donated to McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, for the education, research, and treatment of mental illness including anxiety, borderline personality disorder, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse. Our mission is to raise funds for McLean so that we can help accelerate the progress being made to help others who suffer from mental illness.
We also hope to end the stigma surrounding mental illness through education and awareness. The promotion of this ride is a start. Many if not most of us are touched by close friends and relatives who have suffered from one type or another of mental illness.
